Cancellations/Refunds:
For cancellations received more than 5 business days prior to any seminar, Surgent McCoy will refund the full registration fee, taking into account any discounts that were given at the time of registration. For cancellations received less than 5 business days prior to any seminar, Surgent McCoy will refund the registration fee, minus a $50 service charge. No refund is available for cancellations received after 5 p.m. Eastern Time of the business day prior to the seminar.
Transfers:
Seminar registrants may transfer to another course or transfer their registration to another person at anytime up to 5 p.m. Eastern Time of the business day prior to the seminar, for no additional charge. Transfers will not be accepted after that time.
CPE Credit:
To receive CPE credit for a seminar, participants are required to sign in and out at the seminar, under the direction of the discussion leader. CPE certificates will be emailed to all attendees within 10 business days after the seminar. Surgent McCoy will adjust CPE credit awarded to reflect late arrivals or early departures.
No CPE credit will be awarded unless a seminar has been paid for. Therefore, walk-in attendees are strongly encouraged to call Surgent McCoy on the day of their seminar to arrange payment, so that there is no delay in the processing of CPE credit.
CFP® Credit:
Many Surgent McCoy seminars are accepted for continuing education credit for the Certified Financial Planner™ designation by the CFP Board. Those that qualify include a notation on the course description page. If you wish to earn CFP credit for a seminar, please note this on the sign-in sheet at the class. Surgent McCoy will then report your credits to the CFP Board.
Evaluation Forms:
Evaluation forms are provided to all attendees at each seminar. Please fill one out and return it to your discussion leader – your scores and comments are very valuable to us.

Special Requirements:
Please contact our office in advance if you have special dietary needs or if you will need assistance or special accommodations due to a disability. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests.
Program Attire:
Business casual attire is appropriate for all programs. Also, since meeting room temperatures may vary, layered clothing is strongly recommended.
Electronic Devices:
To ensure a comfortable learning environment for all participants, we ask that you turn off all cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices for the duration of the seminar.
Cancellations/Changes by Surgent McCoy:
If weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances require the cancellation of a seminar, Surgent McCoy will make every effort to contact each participant. In these circumstances, Surgent McCoy will try to reschedule the same seminar for another date. If a registrant is not able to attend on the rescheduled date, they may transfer to another seminar or receive a full refund.
If a seminar must be cancelled due to lack of registrations, Surgent McCoy will contact all participants and make every effort to transfer each participant to another seminar of their choice. If this is not possible, Surgent McCoy will refund the full registration fee.
