Brian Kush is president at Moxie Partners, a professional coaching company that helps professionals achieve in self-defined and measurable ways. Brian works with accountants one-on-one through a personal coaching relationship and partners with organizations to help employees take their leadership skills to a new level by offering workshops on topics such as effective communication, client leadership, and time management.
Brian formerly worked for a Big 4 accounting firm. He is also a former vice president at AuditWatch where he worked with hundreds of accounting firms in reengineering their audit processes, understanding new auditing and accounting standards, teaching core level staff training, and providing data extraction and analysis training. He has also written a book as well as many articles and has been quoted in numerous accounting and leadership magazines across the country on areas such as SAS 99: consideration of fraud in a financial statement audit , leadership challenges facing accountants, and utilizing data extraction and analysis software to improve the effectiveness of auditing procedures.
Brian graduated from the University of Virginia. He is a CPA, CISA (certified information systems auditor), CITP (chartered information technology professional), and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
