Ted D. Englebrecht, Ph.D.

Ted D. Englebrecht is the Smolinski Eminent Scholar Chair in Accountancy at Louisiana Tech University . He has taught taxation courses and done consulting work for several firms throughout the country. He has also received awards from several professional CPA associations for his presentations on tax topics. In addition to teaching, Dr. Englebrecht has authored or co-authored several books for major publishing companies. He has written more than 175 articles on taxation for many professional journals.

Dr. Englebrecht received his B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. from East Carolina University and his master’s degree in accounting and Ph.D. in accounting and taxation from the University of South Carolina.
