Patrick J. Deo, CPA, CrFA Patrick J. Deo, CPA, is president of Deo, LaManna, Deo & Co. He is a noted national speaker and frequent lecturer. He is also a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. Mr. Deo has served as a vice president and trustee of the NJSCPA, vice chairperson and trustee of the Society’s Political Action Committee, and as chairperson of the NJSCPA Cooperation with Internal Revenue Service Committee, New Jersey Taxation Committee, NJSCPA Operations Committee, and Midyear Members Conference. He was past president of the Morris/Sussex Chapter NJSCPA and has been a member of various other NJSCPA committees. He has also authored and co-authored various technical books and articles. Prior to becoming a CPA, Mr. Deo worked for the Internal Revenue Service for almost 20 years in various high-level positions and received numerous recognitions for outstanding service.
